Synopsis
A unique profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams.. Obtaining permission to film the elaborate dance scene on Regent Street in London took a year and a half because it belongs to the British royal family. Two nights before the scheduled shooting date, after a full week of rehearsals, Queen Elizabeth II died and filming had to be postponed. Everyone had to be paid anyway, including shopkeepers and crew, and production insurance did not cover losses from the death of a monarch. Producers had to raise additional funds to film the scene, which was shot five months later.. The title character, Robbie Williams, is portrayed as a chimpanzee. Robbie Williams is not actually a chimpanzee.
