Beetlejuice: I think it was Dostoyevsky who said
Synopsis
After a family tragedy, three generations of the Dietz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her teenage daughter Astrid accidentally opens a portal to the afterlife. Jenna Ortega, Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Katharine O’Hara, Justin Theroux, and Monica Bellucci share why Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice was an experience they’ll never forget. Tim Burton has said that the film would only be made if Michael Keaton returned to reprise his role. Keaton said in March 2014 that this was the only sequel he was interested in. Lydia informs Astrid that Rory wants to get married at midnight on Halloween night. That would make it November 1st, since midnight is the start of a new day, and thus it would no longer be Halloween.

Could the characters last?
However, I fully understand Burton’s reasons for not including them. Also along for the ride are the always excellent Ortega, Dafoe, Theroux and Bellucci, though she’s completely wasted here. Devito gives us a memorable cameo appearance and Burns Gorman gives us some scenes. VerdictBeetlejuice 2 is one of those sequels that people have been talking about for decades, including countless rumors, fake news reports, and even fan-made trailers, but I never expected it to actually happen. When the trailer dropped, it was official, undeniably so, and I was both excited and hesitant. You see, I’m from the generation that saw the original movie when it first came out and loved it, only to get the sequel 36 years later! Could it live up to expectations?
Well, the answer is very controversial
Three and a half decades of logically having to do this was heavily nostalgic. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice surprised me with how little it did. Yes, there are hints here and there, yes, there are scenes, and yes, there is a certain song that returns, but for the most part, they’re really making a movie here for a younger generation that likely hasn’t seen the original any more than Beetlejuice. fans and I personally didn’t appreciate it and found it a confusing choice. Next actor Keaton didn’t feel the same way as Beatlewis. I’m not sure if it was him or the writer, but he wasn’t the charming character we’ve come to love and know from the 80s. Lydia?
Ryder delivered and was fantastic, this was a great return
O'O'O'O'O'It was really big Delia again, but we remember Delia being a very annoying character, right? So having so much screen time compared to the original movie was definitely not a good thing. Theroux was brilliant, Ortega was brilliant, Dafoe was his usual crazy self and Bellucci was……well, she was there. Look, I love Bellucci, but in the end she was set up as the films antagonist, she’s barely on screen, doesn’t contribute anything, and even the characters in the swan song are rushed and frankly terrible. You see, the plot is very tired and very generic. needed that nostalgia, needed Beetlejuice, doesn’t have much of either. And if we have Beetlejuice scenes, they are very weak.
